Schoenenwies Agrees With Mets

The Mets and P Scott Schoenenweis have agreed to a 3 year, $10.8 million deal. Schoenenweis, has been used primarily as a LOOGY throughout his career (.231 BAA vs. lefties in his career), started last year in Toronto and was pretty bad going 2-2, 6.51 ERA in 37.3 IP with a 1.47 WHIP. He seemed to have found new life in the NL (but then again, it is the NL) when being traded to Cincinnati for nothing... I mean cash (2-0, 14.3 IP, 3 SV, 0.63 ERA, 1.19 WHIP). Jamie Walker should of waited a little bit longer to sign a contract.
